Fit-out Refurbishment The project entails an upgrade to the existing restaurant using the client’s corporate identity, better space usage and adding key focal elements such as a photo-corner, private function space new buffet servery with added textures and finishes to create an overall fresh new look.
SOUTHDOWNS SHOPPING CENTRE
Facade and ablution upgrade and Square design The project entailed a fresh look to the existing retail facades with minimal impact to a vibrant and busy centre. The entire walkway canopy angle has been adjusted to open views onto the retailers and also visibility to tenant signage. This is complimented by timber cladding to existing façade frames and the introduction of a vertical element to the Doppio Zero Rotunda. The project also included an ablution upgrade, new centre logo design, signage upgrade and the introduction of some graffiti art at the existing PNP entrance for a unique experience. Life has been introduced to the existing square by creating age-based play areas with benches for the parents and kiosk retailers all under beautiful trees and carnival lights.
SANRIDGE SQUARE
Retail refurbishment The project focused on the upgrade of the main facade of the existing 12819m² retail centre. Doing construction in a live retail environment has its challenges and the façade upgrade took such into account. The project included large façade screens to be clipped onto the existing buildings, green walls and even the inclusion of Graffiti art to create a unique destination. Façade design together with clever lighting design accommodates the vibrant night life of the centre. The project further included a relook at the Centre signage and identity, which ultimately played a major role in the facades themselves.
PINELANDS VILLAGE
Retail development The project entails the refurbishment of an existing warehouse and offices into a double level retail centre to host Checkers as main anchor. A unique mix of tenants are chosen to support the main anchor and address the high retail demand in the area. The project focuses on enhancing the pedestrian interphase by the creation of a boulevard for tenants and restaurants to spill out onto, with a secure play area for the kids. The project further entails the construction of 3 parking decks to sustain the development.
PARKTOWN QUARTER
Retail and Office Refurbishment The project entails the refurbishment of an existing 4700m² retail centre and offices. The refurbishment is the first phase of upgrading this node. The second Phase will include further retail and parking to sustain the offering. The aim is to expand on the pedestrian scale and culture of the precinct and create a destination and vibrant node in Parktown.
